What is a diagnostic pregnancy ultrasound?

A diagnostic pregnancy ultrasound uses sound waves to evaluate your developing baby. Diagnostic pregnancy ultrasounds are performed to get an accurate gestational age, determine the baby’s sex, check fetal position, monitor growth, or check other important things during pregnancy.

What is a KeepSake pregnancy ultrasound?

A KeepSake pregnancy ultrasound is a special way to bond with your baby. Unlike diagnostic pregnancy ultrasounds, KeepSake ultrasounds aren’t performed to get specific information. Instead, the main goal with KeepSake ultrasounds is getting highly detailed 3D and 4D images of your baby.

EloRose Diagnostic Ultrasound LLC offers several different ways to enjoy a KeepSake experience, including:

Individual KeepSake ultrasounds

There are many options for individual KeepSake ultrasounds. Generally, ultrasounds include detailed imaging, access to images online, printed photos, and hearing your baby’s heartbeat. You can add on special mementos as well.

KeepSake memberships

There are two KeepSake membership plans available. You can take advantage of these plans starting at nine weeks gestation, which allows you to have frequent bonding ultrasounds throughout your pregnancy.

With these plans, you pay a once-per-pregnancy fee. This fee gives you access to heavily discounted KeepSake ultrasounds, freebies (like first and seventh visits free), and free or discounted items, such as “heartbeat” items that play a recording of your baby’s heartbeat.

After every visit, you get a link to access a photo and video clip gallery. The Special Delivery plan is the most affordable of the two, but paying a bit more for the Premium Special Delivery plan gives you some additional benefits, such as a free canvas painting of your developing child.

With either membership, you can purchase 8K image enhancement, in which 4D ultrasound images are transformed into photo-realistic images of your baby. This add-on can help you really envision your baby ahead of their birth.

What is the prep for pregnancy ultrasounds?

Hydration is the single most important thing you can do to prepare, so start drinking more water two or three days ahead of time. You don’t need a full bladder. Eat a light meal around half an hour beforehand.
